The mango- grapefruit cake was absolutely delicious. I don't like very sweet cakes and this was absolutely perfect.
I recently stumbled upon Yu Cake in South Coast Plaza and I'm so glad I did. This charming little bakery is a hidden gem that truly deserves recognition. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a delightful aroma of fresh-baked goods and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The cake selection was simply stunning. Each creation was a masterpiece, beautifully decorated with intricate details and vibrant colors
I was there for their special promotional day event with my kids. They had three flavor options at the time and you could only get one per person. There was only 1 container of the tiramisu flavor which was smooth, creamy and delicious. My one daughter tried the dark chocolate one and she was delighted with how it was decorated—there was a gold flake on top of hers. My other daughter tried the coconut flavor which was a pretty blue with a hint of coconut. My favorite flavor was dark chocolate while my daughters favored the tiramisu. Definitely worth trying this new bakery.

Their cakes absolutely delicious! Not over-sweet like others in 85 degree or Paris Baguette. They are perfectly tender and taste. I tried 7 : strawberry , strawberry cheesecake , blueberries, coffee, mango, tiramisu and caramel cheesecake. All you can taste only the main ingredient - you taste fresh pureed strawberry with hint of milk in strawberry slice, you taste freshly chopped blueberry with milk in blueberry slice, etc. Multiple layers - I counted at least 20 layers - are making those cakes so tenderness and rich in flavor! Super popular cake place! And it makes sense why. Beautiful little shop. I went towards the end of the day and got these two delicious cakes. I wish I had arrived earlier to get more options, but it totally makes sense why they would be sold out of a lot of their most popular items.
